Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Baton Rouge Little Theater, or BRLT, presents John Cariani’s romantic comedy, “Almost, Maine.” Under the direction of Keith Dixon, managing artistic director for BRLT, performances will run from January 27 through February 12, 2012.
On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.
Join the cast and the rest of BRLT as we celebrate the season of love and laughter. “Almost, Maine,” features four cast members from the Baton Rouge area: Brigette Burhoe, Courtney Murphy, Tyler Grezaffi andJeff Johnson. Other members of the production staff include Chris Adams, set design; Emily Coley, light design; and Kelly Martin, stage manager.
