Those ever-creative Incense Merchants are at it again. This time, the sextet, having just set up to jam, were faced with a situation.....Larry, the guy who keeps the building clean, was sweeping. Not a problem for these guys.... in fact, they used it for inspiration. And off they go....4 minutes later and they've created another top 40 Hit! Griffin Campbell has performed throughout the US and in South America, Europe, and Asia, including meetings of the World Saxophone Congress, NASA, SCI, SEAMUS, and ICMC. Recordings can be found on the Capstone, Cat Crisis, Centaur, EMF, Innova, SEAMUS, Vestige, and WorldWinds labels. He has conducted seminars in saxophone performance at universities, conservatories, and conferences throughout the United States and in Bolivia, Brazil, Italy, Argentina, and China. His musical explorations include nearly every style and genre. Campbell is Region VI Director for NASA, and has been teaching at LSU since 1984. He is a Vandoren and Selmer Artist.
XVI World Saxophone Congress in St Andrews (Scotland 2012)
A bunch of digital media students from LSU got together on board The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and brought up an obvious but much overlooked fact. We all look the same from outer space. They went on to write a song that serves that point and used their eclectic influences to bring to life a track that truly is out of this world.
