Please join us for this one-of-kind look inside of artist studios, collectors' homes and art venues. The five-week tour takes place every Wednesday from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. beginning April 27th and ending on May 25th, 2011.
Since 2007 Looking@Art has been one of CultureCandy's most successful programs as it provides a behind the scenes look at what it takes to make, sell and buy art. The laid-back and welcoming atmosphere encourages conversation and builds a bigger network of artists and art buyers. The cost is $65 a person and your ticket is transferable to someone else for the entire tour or for just one night.

About Your Host
Elise Toups is a local self-supported artist and art instructor. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2005 with a Bachelors in psychology and a minor in painting. Since then Toups has gone on to win first place in the 2005 Art Melt, plus exhibit at Brunner Gallery, Connelly Gallery, Ephemeral Gallery, Baton Rouge Gallery and the Glassell Gallery. Her latest exhibition entitled, "Make Believe" ran this past spring at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge Community Gallery. She has curated and hosted Looking@Art since 2009.
