Our mission is to encourage literary exchanges between the university and the community by providing a forum for readings and lively discussions of fiction, poetry, and LSU scholarship. Since our beginning in 1993, we have hosted MacArthur and Guggenheim Fellows, several Pulitzer Prize winners, numerous National Book Award recipients, upcoming literary stars, and many renowned Southern writers.
